The phrase “Electric Generation” refers to the process of generating electric power from sources of primary energy. Those primary energy sources can be solar, natural gas, nuclear energy, wind energy, or a combination. The generation that is produced is expected to produce enough electricity to run all of our daily comforts, but when there’s an event such as excessive heat, high winds, ice, or snow, another generating station has the ability to send the power where it’s needed to fill in the missing electricity need.
