CCECA was proud to participate in Farm Safety Day on September 11, 2026 with second grade students from South Central Calhoun and Manson Northwest Webster!

Energy Services Manager Curt Batta and Journeyman Lineman Chad Krukow taught students about ways to stay safe around electricity, including recognizing electrical hazards and staying safe around power lines. They also provided a live demonstration to show firsthand why electrical safety is so important.

Thank you to Calhoun County ISU Extension and Outreach for putting together a great day of hands-on learning! We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with local students and help them build safe habits that can last a lifetime.
