Calhoun County Electric Cooperative Association (CCECA) welcomed member-owners, employees, directors and guests for its Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Event on September 9, 2026, bringing the cooperative community together for an evening of food, fellowship and celebration.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as CCECA celebrated 90 years of serving its members and local communities. Since its beginning in 1936, the cooperative has remained committed to providing safe, reliable and affordable electricity while staying focused on the needs of the people and communities it serves.

Throughout the evening, member-owners had the opportunity to enjoy a meal, visit with CCECA employees and directors, participate in activities and celebrate the cooperative’s 90-year milestone. Door prizes and special giveaways added to the festivities and provided another way to thank members for their continued support.

Following the Member Appreciation portion of the evening, CCECA held its Annual Meeting. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the cooperative’s accomplishments, recognize its history and look ahead to the future.

For 90 years, CCECA has been built around one important purpose: serving its members. While the electric industry and the communities we serve have changed considerably over the decades, the cooperative’s commitment to its members remains at the heart of everything we do.

CCECA extends a sincere thank you to everyone who attended this year’s event and to all of our member-owners for their continued support. We are proud of the cooperative’s powerful past and look forward to remaining future-focused as we continue serving our members for generations to come.
